The Pendennis
The House was built around 1860 and is an end of terrace 10 bedroomed Victorian house. It was built and occupied by the architect who
designed and built many houses in the Penzance area. It is larger than
other guest houses in the terrace and has a lovely warm feel.
The house was a home until the late 1940’s, when it was converted
into a Hotel/Guest House.
Major redecoration and restorations to a high level have been
carried out resulting in the Pendennis being awarded 4 stars by
the quality in tourism organisation.
To the front is a patio area with seating, this area is planted with flower pots containing a mixture of tropical, annual and perennial plants, the Pendennis was judged 1st place in 2008, Penzance beautiful Britain in Bloom contest for the Guest House and Hotel category and has won previous awards for 2006 and 2007. |
